he sent me a message back and wanted me to relay this to you all since he couldn't get registered.....
| Quote: | I didn't mean that article to be mean. In fact, I read it again and saw very few lines that wouldn't be considered objective. Really, I'm doing it to try and get a WKU page going at Bleacher Report. Nobody had put the Hilltopper name out there before then.
"In fact, it sometimes seems the sky is falling for Coach David Elson and the Hilltoppers." That references the Alabama game, IU, and most likely what's going to happen against UK. How do you keep your head up after losing so badly? Looking forward to the future can sometimes be hard when you're so overmatched. Even Troy and Ball State are looking good this season - games in which I might have given WKU a chance to win before the season started.
Outside of that, I just talked about what has gone on this season to fill people in and then gave a small prediction. I didn't come right out and say it, but I think WKU wins somewhere in the neighborhood of four games. That's not bad considering the schedule. They would probably nab 7-8 wins with this year's team and last year's schedule.
Maybe if the guys there could point out what made it a "bad article" other than they didn't agree with every line of it, that would be nice. Thanks for the feedback. Feel free to cut and paste this message.
