A $100,000 commitment from Terry Woodward of Owensboro, Ky. will create the Terry Woodward Endowed Men’s Basketball Scholarship. Woodward is the owner of and CEO of Waxworks, one of the nation’s leading authorized wholesale entertainment distributors. The endowment will provide permanent support for scholarships for many years to come.

“I appreciate the fact that the WKU administration values and supports the basketball program and tradition,” Woodward said. “Their support makes me want to support the program as well. I look forward to seeing this investment pay off on the court and in the classroom.”

WKU Coach Ken McDonald stated. “The key to our future financial success is through a scholarship endowment that will allow us to recruit the nation’s finest student-athletes to the WKU campus,” McDonald said. “Terry Woodward certainly understands and endorses that concept through this endowment commitment and by modeling the way for others to follow. This commitment only enhances the tradition of excellence for Hilltopper Basketball, and I am so appreciative of Terry’s willingness to be such a huge part of our program.”
